WE HAVE IMMEDIDATE REQUIREMENT FOR ASST MANAGER

  • Job Title: Associate/Assistant Manager
  • Trading Level: L6/L5
  • Reports to: Branch Manger
  • Work Location: Bhopal
  • Edu.Quali. : Post Graduation in Agri Business
  • Relevant Exp: 15 Years Above
  • Reporter's: Executives  & Officers

Purpose of Job:

  • Achieve the Procurement / Trading Target of the State through creation of Action Plans, Interfacing with Internal / External Organisation, analyzing performance & providing feedback, capability building of Staff & extended Organisation, error free Reports and documentation.
  • Market intelligence / research, procurement, warehouse, logistics etc., executing the trading plan and
    customer relationship management.

Key Responsibility Area:

Creation of Action Plans

  • Ensure translation of DHQ Plans for the State into Hub wise Targets, Deliverables and Measurable in conjunction with the Channel Manager
  • Ensure the channel has been given appropriate inputs while preparing various operational plans , Procurement, Infrastructure, Logistics etc. and also ensure that the plans are in tune with market realities, customer needs and latest trade practices.
  • Create action plans in conjunction with the Channel Manager by closely monitoring each Hub and being present when review meetings are being conducted at the Area level and the State level Interface with Internal / External Organisation
  • Interface with the Channel on processes and recommend such processes to Trader / BDM at DHQ
  • Ensure adequate support to the Channel to resolve all issues related to Procurement / Trading in the State that has been provided
  • Interface with the Foods Division in the State

Performance analysis & feedback

  • Highlight various deviations in performance through active monitoring of performance indicators vis-à-vis sanctioned plan figures, reasons for the gap, provide feedback on performance improvement and follow up on the suggestions given for its improvement Capability Building
  • Assess capability gaps of Buyers and Sanyojakâ's boys in conjunction with the Channel Manager, and ensure all support viz. Faculty, support from DHQ etc. is provided to run the required training programs has been provided.
  • Ensure Sanyojakâ's boys are of the required quality and experience and Buyers and Sanyojaka's boys are adequately trained before they take independent charge at the Hub Reports & Documentation
  • Ensure all Procurement & Trading related Data and Reports as required by the DHQ is sent within specified time limits

Market Research / Intelligence

  • Develop a system in conjunction with the Channel Manager that ensures that the Channel, keeps track of competition and their activities.
  • Develop a system in conjunction with the Channel Manager that determines crop potential of various crops being cultivated or having potential of cultivation in the State, that identifies value chains of crops having marketable surplus and a reliable, credible crop survey mechanism that predicts accurately critical parameters viz. expected quantity,quality etc. of crops under observation.

Procurement

  • Develop Quality grading, Pricing and Storage norms in conjunction with the Channel Manager specific to each agri-commodity in accordance to customer requirement
  • Develop a documentation system in conjunction with the Channel Manager for recording transactions that maintains proper records, accounts of material procured, the process through which it was procured and a audit trail to the entire process
  • Ensure other costs of procurement apart from procurement price are monitored with fixed periodicity and controlled to remain with the sanctioned limits / budgets.

Warehouse Management

  • Develop a system / process in conjunction with the Channel Manager that maintains proper records, accounts of material stored, dispatches, storage losses / gains and packaging material usage and provides a audit trail to the entire process where material is segregated grade wise and identity is preserved.
  • To ensure delivery of material as per the required blend specifications of the customers that maintains strict distinction between material classified for internal customer (FBD) from material meant for general trading or other preferred customers.

Logistics Management

  • Develop a system in conjunction with the Channel Manager that maintains proper records, accounts of material dispatched and received at destination, transition losses, cost of transportation, variation of cost from budgets and packaging material usage and to provide a audit trail to the entire process.
  • Develop market tracking mechanism in conjunction with the Channel Manager to provide regular information on prevailing market prices, competitor, costs and stock movement by competitors and other market players.
